This new breed of soulful bay area artists that apparently have something to say. Of course the bay will always produce "the slaps" but in the meantime we are have noticed a huge increase of the indie label (back pack) hip-hop taking a front seat to all the corporate gimmicks that consistently flood the airways on traditional radio. The popularity of these underground hip-hop shows has given new life and opportunity for the young artist of today to speak their mind. Giving this freedom of expression has produced many great new artists... one to look out for would be our great friend T-Ran of Oakland ,Ca currently attending college at Howard University. His latest project The Wonderful Experiment features music production from 9TH Wonder.
